Amusingly, if it is a field reversal it may coincide
with the Solar System's collision with the Local Fluff, a dense
interstellar cloud that may push the heliopause down below one
AU. I wonder how long it has been since the last time we had both
a reversal and were directly exposed to the interstellar medium?
