Telescopes and telephoto lens for moon obseravtion

What are the best telescopes for home use?

I hae my eye on an inexpesnive telescope. I think it might be nice to
use on a boardwalk as the moon rises. I might be able to generate a
small tip income by allowing tourists to have a look at the moon.

What are the best commerical cameras and telephoto lens for
photographing the moon?

Has anyone here ever paid money for the honor to use a telescope?
