Now why was that the reaction I expected ??? :-p

Something like marble tofu could give even Texas Chili a challenge for
the title of ultimate food item/cold treatment. And stir fried tofu in
with the twice-cooked pork does qutie well, too.

And NASA is probably interested in tofu because a) their crews weren't
all weaned in the barrens of North Texas, b) soy products have
desirable nutrient properites (prior to irradiation, at least), and c)
they need an answer to borscht.
