Interesting linear feature at apollo 14 site

I have transferred the entire Apollo lunar surface journal set to my
PDA and have been working through it (A11...A14 so far) in quiet
moments. While following the A14 traverse I also brought up a copy of
the traverse map:

....so that I could see what was going on. In doing so I noticed a
strange linear feature at about pixel cooordinate (1140,840). My first
thought is that this was a bit of debris on a slide or negative, but
(assuming that this is a trench) the sun angle does look right. Also it
appears to be surrounded by bright material, much like some of the
craters in the area.
Am I wrong? Is this an artifact? Or is it something the A14 crew should
have tried to find? And yes, I know from, reading the transcripts:
finding something like this would have been very difficult.
Incidently there are two pretty obvious flaws in the image at
(2500,1500) which might do for comparison.
