Hi,
I'm looking at getting an inexpensive portable DVD player; I don't need
anything fancy, I just want to put DVDs in it and listen with headphones.
Are there any limitations on the angle of these units? The angle question
comes up since I'd like to use it while riding the exercise bike.
Does anyone have any good recommendations?
Best Buy has a Zenith ZPA-314 which is reasonably priced so I'm thinking of
getting that. I couldn't find a specification for it on the Zenith site
and a specification for another unit didn't mention angle. And yes, I did
ask the salesperson at the store and let us say I'm writing this note now.

There's the region code thing. If you want to play a DVD from another
region (Europe,
Asia, Austraila), you can't, unless you unlock the DVD player.
I found instructions to unlock the DVD player and make it region free.
The instructions are in German:
http://www.dvddemystifiziert.de/codefree/zenith.html
ZPA314
1. Player anschalten
2. PAUSE drücken
3. 314159 drücken
4. Regionalcode einstellen (0 = codefree, 1 = RC 1 usw.)
5. PAUSE auf der Fernbedienung drücken
6. Player aus- und wieder anschalte
Running through Babelfish results in this:
ZPA314
1. Turn Player on
2. Press Pause on the remote
3. Press 314159 on the remote
4. Region code stop (0 = codefree, 1 = RC 1 usw)
5. Press Pause on the remote
6. Turn Player off and then on
