Is that the blue-skied variant of the painting (he did at least two
different paintings of that scene)?
I think that is my all-time favorite painting of his.
Deep aqua at least. Kind of a shame that you'd only get that
kind of view from a layer above Titan's clouds (which I've seen
called the Bonestellsphere). There was one early Cassini image
showing part of Saturn behind Titan that managed to remind me of
the Bonestell painting. Imagine what he could have painted had there
been any clue of a fluid cycle on the surface of Titan...

Re: Changing Colors on things. ... Create a new, transparent layer, and in the Layer Dialog, change it's mode to either Hue or Colour. ... In Hue mode, the top layer will change the hue of the object below it, but leave it's value and saturation alone. ... So do you let your opaque layers dry before applying the next opaque ... then do it again with enough medium that it appears to blend evenly with the first layer so that you don't even notice there is more than one layer. ... Then, when you've had a chance to look at it with all of the other colors in the painting finished, you can come back one more time to get the color just right - or however many times is necessary, usually adding more and more medium each time. ...
