The rovers on Mars right now are teleoperated, just not in realtime.

None of the advantages that the human has outweigh the serious
disadvantages of having to breathe, eat, drink, poop, and have
psychogical needs taken care of, let alone that a human -will want to
come back-. That robots go one-way and have no creature comfort needs
knocks humans completely out of the running, let alone that robots are
orders of magnitude cheaper, a proven technology, and put no lives at
risk.
