Reminds me of when I visited Zambia in 2000. The town I stayed in had it's own Coke bottling plant. It sold for 800 Kwatcha, at the time around £0.20 which I thought was very cheap. They were heavily into bottles rather than cans and the glass was scratched nearly white where the bottles had been re-cycled so many times. In such a hot country it was great to have plenty of cheap tasty chilled drink easily available. While I was there the government even announced a reduction of its price in the budget.
