You read your books in the tub? Not good if you drop one, and the

In nearly 55 years of reading in the bathtub, I've only ever dropped
two books. Considering I've read thousands of books in the tub, I
don't think it's that dangerous. Books seem to withstand the humidity
pretty well, not that even bathrooms get all that humid here in the
desert (mirrors never fog). Magazines, particularly the ones printed
on coated paper are a little more vulnerable to damp fingers.
