Re: Apollo telemetry tapes missing?

Ahh, Telemetry, I was thinking audio of the astronauts voices.
Telemetry is everything but voices, like their heart rates and such.

If Kranz says something, you believe it, but imagine how much Telemetry
data there must be, O2 flow, fuel remaining, battery power left, Helium
pressure, flow and amount remaining, etc.

The Telemetry data was subject to the same loss of signal as normal
radio communication, so it did drop in and out.

Is losing this data a problem ?? When were these 18 min. ?? Was this
Telemetry ever really meant to be kept ??

There are more than one set of Audio tapes, there are the PAO tapes,
which recorded the Public Announcer and there are the better copies
that didn't have the PAO.

It was telemetry tapes (spacecraft data and medical info), not audio
tapes.
