Very.
It indicates how poorly the medical establishment in the US is at
controlling pain, especially in the elderly and terminally ill patients.
I'm sure many doctors aren't likely to prescribe the pain medications many
of their patients need for fear of the US government looking into their
"over prescribing" controlled substances.
