It's microsoft proprietary crap.
What I meant in the post was that you need
an application that understands the protocol.
In Linux mPlayer and Kaffeine are two
examples. OM mentioned a Windoze app that
does the same: "Streaming Download Project."
(Period concluding entire paragraph should
be included in quotes, right? But what about
my beloved ellipses?... :)
Don't know about Macs.
