In these days of disposable digital cameras, it should be noted that
the Apollo staging shots were taken by film cameras which were
jettisoned moments after filming the shot and returned to earth by
parachute. That's one of those moments that make one pause to consider
how much has changed since the 60s.

There's also an inexplicably less famous shot of the interstage falling
away as the upper stage ignites, tearing the interstage apart. I've
only seen this footage once.
