You know why? Because around a dozen Australian nature programs hosts have assured them that Australia's wildlife is all fascinating and charming, and nowhere as dangerous as they think it is...so they go up to the cute little Koala and try to look it in the face, and the vicious little *** shoots its highly toxic urine right in their eyes, permanently blinding them, so that they then go staggering off into the billabong screaming, where the male Platypus waits to strike them down with its venomous toe claws and paralyze them, so that the female can inject her eggs into them...where they can hatch and feed...before tunneling their way out of the desiccated corpse.
