Yeppers. The movie was OK, it just wasn't Starship Troopers. Now the movie
will never be made right.

In the book the troops, wearing armor and
gear weighing over a ton and looking like
"big steel gorillas", had rocket launchers
in retractable mounts.

Biggest problem I see at the moment blocking the suits is power storage.
Build a power suit for the military, ten years later Ripley is loading cargo
with an articulated forklift suit.
