November 16: RSRM night firing

The FSM-13 RSRM static test is scheduled for Thursday, November 16, at
6:00 p.m. MST. The reason for conducting the test during evening hours
is to meet NASA imagery requirements in support of night-time Space
Shuttle launches. This will be at the ATK facility near Promontory,
Utah. There is a large public viewing area about 8,000 feet from the
test stand. It's been a long time since there was a similar night
firing... reportedly sometime in the SRM days (early 1980's). I've seen
a number of daylight firings, and they're damned impressive... night
firing should be quite a sight.
