The United States has the richest poor people in the world. I doubt you've
seen much *poverty* in the US. Having to buy Pabst instead of Heinie is
*not* poverty.

Obviously not the type of poverty you see, when you walk about the
streets of Mumbai, or even Bangkok.

But the lack of money, simply comparing US/Canada border towns is
very striking. And comparing to other European cities, is interesting.

Yeah, I knew someone would mention Paris. There's another very troubled
country in that respect. France's problems seem to come out of racism.
I'm not sure this is completely true in the USA.
