Not to worry, it takes about 3 years to go through the application
procedure ... unless they are refugees ... and it's unlikely the Democrats
can last that long with screwing up and imploding. At the same time, our
own right-wing government will have likely taken a curtain call by
then, based on past history of Tory minority governments.

Interesting to see that Bush has finally fired Rumsfeld ... perhaps
there is some hope for the administration ... now if only he would
fire Cheney ...

No,no, Gates can more easily be manipulated by Cheny than Rumsfeld
could. After all, 'stay the course' means spend more money on the war
to help out my former company Halliburton. The move to Gates is to have
a younger more active intel insider to do the neocon agenda's bidding.
