anything to do with the attacks on 911, and only idiots would think

Truthout.org is a joke. Nowhere in the Washington Post article does
Cheney claim that Saddam was involved with 911. He simply says that
there were extensive ties between him and Al Qaeda, which is true.

Provide the evidence for those extensive ties. The fact that he makes
that claim leaves the door open for complicity as is Cheney's and your
want. Like the false WMD claim, the justification for the invasion of
Iraq was built upon a house of cards similar to what you claim as true.
