The new one looks a lot roomer than the LOK one.
Since the only time it would have been used on a Moon flight was when the LK was waiting for the LOK to dock with it after ascending from the Moon, I assume the LOK pilot controlled the docking from the orbital module, unlike a standard Soyuz, where docking is controlled from the descent module.
