fast? Those fuel lines must have been huge.
They were.
If you ever get a chance to get to KSC or JSC and stand next to a Saturn
V... or even an F-1 (the first stage engine) you start to appreciate how
FRIGGING BIG the whole thing was.
It's really impressive.
