Most 60 year old engineers are in coasting mode where if they keep their

....According to the latest reports, he was unmarried, with no
children, and living alone. What we'll probably find out is that the
boss he blew away was one he was recently reassigned under, and was
looking to clear away anyone with a) more experience or b) wasn't a
young punk who'll work cheaper, and was really putting the screws to
the poor guy in hopes he'd up and quit and save the company some
severance pay costs.
Personally, if this was in fact the case, this is the sort of thing
I'd love to see happen more often. Far too many qualified people have
been fracked over by incompetent paper pushers on a power trip...
