This is the first I'd heard that Scaled were working on their own engine.

I assume this is what's in the center of the blast photo.

National news this morning carried a shot from the air, and that was
indeed the center of the blast. All that was recognizable (somewhat)
from the shot was the large silver tank, damaged cars and other
debris...................Doc
