at KSC, which I answered in order. However, when I finally got around
to asking him why he was so interested in it all of a sudden, he
answered with this:
Paul Dietz has occasionally proposed that if we were serious about
settling space, we'd dedicate a national cemetary to all the people
who will die in the process, and make it a big one. Well, there's
quite a bit of room on that thing for a lot more names.
It is a moving experience to see the names on the memorial wall. I
recall knowing that 7 more would be added after the Columbia disaster
back in Feb. 2003. Sure enough they were there when I went the last
time in Dec. 2003.
