There are a total of ten blank pages after the index.
This is the Book of the Month club edition. I presume you don't have
the dustjacket. You can tell without the jacket by looking at the
rear cover, right at the bottom, on the dark blue spine section,
right next to the hinge. You'll find the tell tale BOMC 1/16" dimple.
