No, it was purchased for ten cents from our local library.
My friend almost got me a copy of Lowell's "Mars As The Abode Of Life" for ten cents once, but the librarian realized it got stuck on the sales table by accident and could actually be worth more than that... maybe three or four bucks even.

You can tell without the jacket by looking at the rear cover, right at the bottom, on the dark blue spine section, right next to the hinge. You'll find the tell tale BOMC 1/16" dimple.

Yup, it is indeed there! What are all the blank pages at the back about?
