You know, the perfect way to end the Sean Connery series of Bond movies would have been for him to retire and marry her.
Then of course she gets killed by SPECTOR...and then it gets very, very, personal...as 007, the rest of the double 0's, Q, and M decide they don't need permission from MI-5 to go out and get whoever was responsible for that.
Hell, they'd probably have SMERSH, the CIA, and Tiger Tanaka covering their tracks for them on the way.
You'd have the entire audience bouncing off the walls on that one.
