contention for a seat on a Mercury flight, but that later on they just
*had* to have been denied a flight because they exceeded the test
results of the males and were "disqualified" for pure prejudicial
reasons - the lack of security clearances didn't mean anything to
them, apparently.

On the other hand, I suppose if I were one of them, I might be a
little miffed at the realization that a chimpanzee had more security
clearance...
