Something just occurred to me...that auto time setting on a lot of
people's computers around here never got adjusted for the change in the
dates when we fall back an hour...you just did the old time travel trick
I spotted years ago of answering a posting before it was posted.
Western Australia went from UTC+8 to UTC+9 last Sunday. So in my case
it's because my computer at work hasn't been updated with the daylight
saving patch which will enable it to show the correct time. And it's
not like the IT crowd hasn't had 12 months to do it. This summer is
the second year of a 3-year trial, after which comes a referendum. The
three daylight saving referenda WA has had in the last 30 years have
all failed by very narrow margins.
