Yep. By my personal definition all parts of history, that not DIRECTLY
have happened to me, are just theory, and sometimes only hypotheses.
But as I already wrote - theories are workable concepts I can live
with - without denial of validity at all.

And the moon landings are a good example. The only direct (experienced
live) evidence I personally have are the tv images I saw as a nine
year old boy, and some space artifacts I was allowed to see and touch.
And over the years I read tens of thousands pages of documentation,
saw many thousands of images, studied history (not only space flight
history, but other topics like war history of 19th and 20th century
and others as well) - and all these (for me theoretical) puzzle tiles
fall into a consistent grid, that the moon landings fit in as well,
without any gaps. These are the theoretical parts of history. And
because of this consistence mannes moon landings from 1969 on are
theories I surely can believe in.

Differing from that are the monn hoax hypotheses that leave many gaps,
or partly contradict themselves - And I worked over "dark moon"
several times over the years (it's very hard work to handle
EVERYTHING, and not only the the obvious bull*** there), and NOT ONE
of the 'arguments' told there and try to prove, the moon landings had
not happened, withstood a critical scrutiny.
