It was cheaper and easier to fly all those missions than it would have

You'll obviously believe anything published and/or produced by your
corrupt government, but lo and behold, it seems your physics and
science simply doesn't add up.
You do realize that our Iraq fiasco has only to do with their having
oil, and Iran isn't that far behind. What's next? (perhaps Mexico,
Cuba again, Canada, or how about Australia is always good for having
those WMD, as well as their yellowcake is certainly worth our having
market control over).
