Sorry if this topic has been covered before. But I noticed ' In the
Shadow of the Moon ' was out on DVD ... so I purchased a copy. I
didn't get the chance to see it in theaters. Even though I have hours
and hours of ' moon stuff ' on DVD and VHS in my video library.
Wow nice.
What stood out to me in this DVD was Michael Collins. His commentary
was so wonderful ( and funny ). Too bad Neil Armstrong was absent
from this venture ( but that is so often the case ).
Anything new to me ? Well ... Buzz paused for a moment to relieve his
bladder after stepping on the moon. ( maybe I read that somewhere as
well ). Funny commentary from Alan Bean about how Buzz Aldrin
couldn't shut up about orbital rendezvous ... even at parties. And
Buzz comments ... " yeah ... that was true ".
Tee he.

As we speak, I am reading Michael Collins 'Liftoff - The Story of America's
Adventure In Space' published in 1988 (yeah, I'm slow getting to the new
releases). Anyways, same thing about his writing style. He is a wealth of
information without being stuck on himself (unlike the Kraft book, Flight:
My Life in Mission Control). I need to check out that DVD.
