Actually came to me in a dream.
Oh oh.....
Besides food, three things a space station crew needs are electricity,
oxygen, and water.
So instead of sending up all three separately, send up hydrogen peroxide.
The H2O2 can be run over a silver catalyst, producing a mixture of high
temperature steam and free oxygen that can be used to drive a turbine to
generate electricity.
The high temperature steam can then be re-condensed into drinking water,
and the liberated oxygen used for breathing.

Not bad! That's a 'keeper' idea if there ever was one. Does the water need
any purification (to get rid of silver or other substances?)
.
