Besides food, three things a space station crew needs are electricity,
oxygen, and water.
So instead of sending up all three separately, send up hydrogen peroxide.
The H2O2 can be run over a silver catalyst, producing a mixture of high
temperature steam and free oxygen that can be used to drive a turbine to
generate electricity.
The high temperature steam can then be re-condensed into drinking water,
and the liberated oxygen used for breathing.

Yes, and so much more. It's also relatively simple to store and keep
for extended periods of time. There's even obscure NASA research that
supports all of this.
There's 10 million tonnes/year of mostly 35% food grade h2o2 produced
as is. This production needs to be increased to 100 million tonnes/
year of 70% h2o2 (a 20 fold increase).
Direct battery usage at 50% h2o2 is rather interesting.
