That will be (or actually, *is*) certainly the case at first. But the
price will come down, and the number of customers will go up. This is
only natural: the easiest pickings are the very small number of people
willing to pay very high prices; once that market is used up, you have
to go for the slightly larger number of people willing to pay slightly
less, and so on. In addition to these market forces, of course, there
will be technological progress driving the costs down as well.

We're already seeing the beginning of this curve, where a handful of
people willing to pay $20M for a week in space are the customers. But
that's only the beginning.
