This is the area that I'm most keen to see the first results from.
Observing minute light variations due to phase changes of the orbiting
planet as well as a drop in the total light due to silhouetting
transits would be nothing short of revolutionary over current methods
of exoplanet detection. Do you happen to know the particular target
star(s) first on the list and when the first continuous viewing
schedules will commence?
Many thanks for the update, I shall keenly await some hopefully good
results soon...
Meanwhile, we are all no doubt fired up to see the light variations of
our own star tomorrow as one of "our" planets (i.e. Venus) makes its
epic transitory passage across its disk - the first since 1882!
