HP 100 updated with over 64 megs flash ram 486 lugable

The Hp 100 was a mono or a cga screen, again roughly 3 inches by 6
inches. All output could be displayed on that screen including,
screen image to sky for comparson of view. 640 x 200 mono or 320 x
200 gray scale cga. Oh I had every game that was made to work on cga,
golf cards, racing, etc. The big machine is really only for high end
graphics.

The machine I used for the rest of my work was 486 lugable with a
clock speed of 66 which ran at 80 with a good fan system. The board
was an off brand vlb with vlb graphics card. I had a Revel TV300,
Television cardthat with this setup could capture 3/8 screen 640 x
480. That image could be enlarge to 3/4 without any loss of quality.
This 1995 and that was without mpeg. I tried to change to board to
another VLB or a PCI but it turn out to be slower, the BIOS on the
off brand board must have been better.

It would have be good for safe area use but weight small volume of the
small displays and then mother boards for backup, any addition units
could have been bought for $250 refurbed.

The 486 would be fun but with the weight and size, it would be like
taking a toy.
