Golden Rice with ß-carotene (Vitamin A)

140-250 million children under 5 suffer from vitamin A deficiency
Iron deficiency affects ~2 billion people worldwide
Genes have been added to rice that:
- contain vitamin A precursors in good quantities
- double the iron content
- improve iron absorption
