You missed the "respectively" there; airports don't handle
LOX in quantity. Hospitals do.
Hospital medical oxygen supplies are transported and stored
in the form of LOX. In any hospital of any size you will
find a usually vertical LOX tank sitting off in the parking
lot or a utility area with truck access, with its bottom
mostly iced over even in summer.
I used to walk by one of the hospitals in Berkeley on my
way to and from class, and by chance my class schedule
coincided with the weekly delivery time by the LOX tanker.
He rolled right up in the parking lot, set out some traffic
safety cones, put on his long gloves and safety glasses,
made sure his truck was turned off, hitched a hose to the
LOX storage tank fill line, and turned on the pump.
