That was pretty much my feeling on it. Besides, unless the "Cruisers"
got some kind of special treatment in airspace they'd be losing the
advantage gained in a holding patter. I've been up to an hour early
arriving from the US in the morning coming back to the UK and lost all
of it stuck in a stack trying to get a slot in Heathrow. Unless
you're flying to quiet regional airports, which doesn't make huge
sense, you still have to get through normal traffic.
If you could do the "lot faster" for similar ticket prices to Concorde
or a NetJets then maybe, any more than that and I don't think there's
anybody on the planet who's time is worth that much - at least from a
business perspective. There's always the thrill seeking niche.
