With all the rocket launches around the world, there must be some
birdnests that are close to rockets. Seems like you could get some
real numbers, "Of 75 bird nests with eggs within 1000 feet of the
fence,
X of these stayed on the eggs during the launch and a total of
Y nests had a bird back ontop of the eggs within 15 minutes.
Even just 747s flying over some nesting area would be interesting.
Sombrero is like 40 miles away from any other island. So even a very
scared bird will probably land back at Sombrero.
Anyway, an "Environmental Impact Study" should be able to gather some
interesting information. These things cost a lot of money anyway, so
you might as well get some interesting stuff. The Beal study may not
have had enough meat on it.
