I think, you're a bit late, Thomas. There already are weapons in space --
ICBMs, comm sats, and Spy sats.

I'm not necessarily convinced a space arms race would be so bad a thing.

First, and most importantly of all, there are no people there. If a war can
be decided by who gets the "high ground" without anyone being killed so much
the better. Secondly, it was to some extent a contest between the length of
John and Nikita's members (forgive me if I got the Russian Premier wrong,
I'm a young'un and not too up on my soviet history) that got us to the moon.

I think Jim's "Don't blame us, everybody's doing it" is a sidestep, but a
valid one. No need to be so cantankerous, Thom, but I guess you enjoy it.
