Of course it can, which is all a non-sequitur to this discussion. I
wasn't saying that Hubble didn't make sense. Not was I saying that
projects that make sense get cancelled and that others don't.
I'm saying that what makes sense to Greg Kuperberg is not *always*
aligned with what makes sense to others (and in fact, based on past
discussion, if there's a correlation at all, it's negative), and that
there is also no clear correlation between which projects survive and
which prosper, regardless of who they make sense to.
