But not, I suspect, illegal aliens. After all, who are they going to go
to to complain that their employer isn't paying them the legal minimum
wage? They could try...but they would be deported.
Isn't United States free market capitalism wonderful? While on the one
hand not paying its own unskilled workers enough to live off of, it at
the same time exploits foreign nationals on the sly. In the good old
days of colonialism that required going to a foreign country to
accomplish. Having an indigenous population of them is a great
convenience, and shows the further progress of The American Dream into a
bold new millennia.
