I've never been much of a die hard Microsoft hater (even when I
recognize the obvious superiority of non-MS products such as apache and
linux I still recognize there is a place for Microsoft products and a
place where they are really the superior system), and I've always found
it amusing to see folks who use windows or IE or office or whathaveyou
call down fire and brimstone on the maker of products they probably
could not easily live without. Though since I've started working at
Microsoft I've become slightly less accepting of people wanting to nuke
the place.

Also, the Microsoft Redmond campus isn't like a gated community or
anything it's just a bunch of buildings on regular city streets near
each other, in the center it's pretty much solid Microsoft buildings
from block to block, but it dilutes near the edges.
