I also take objection to NASA's Mars plans!
Instead of SETI/ETI folks looking for whatever signal from those dead
ETs, or that of other folks investing yet another decade and perhaps a
trillion+ hard earned bucks upon eventually walking upon Mars
(especially when we haven't even walked upon our moon), perhaps a
little vise versa consideration needs to be given it's lose cannon shot
in the dark. Whereas instead of us looking for the demise of whatever
Martians, or even of discovering those dumb and dumber SETI/ETs that
are supposedly biologically blind and otherwise less than heathens that
are also most likely quite dead and even their planet long gone by the
time we've detected whatever beacon or quantum/FM message packets
within that beacon, perhaps it's been of them nearby ETs that have been
camping out on Venus, of their having another look-see as to discover
what sorts of pathetic mutated species infected Earth so far beyond the
point of no-return.

If ETs actually wanted to re-discover the level(s) of whatever
potential intelligence has been developed and/or having so badly
mutated itself upon Earth, as for such ETs (I'm including those nice
ETs from the much older Sirius star system), as to their understanding
what has been responsible for such a profoundly artificial negative
impact upon shifting of the global albedo and otherwise having
summarily polluted our atmosphere with methanes, freons, acids, the
likes of poisonous lead and mercury and otherwise absolute loads of CO2
that simply should not be here in such amounts.

detected our modulated RF noise as having been emerging inefficiently
away from this world of ours, as such you'd have to think that of

reasonable doubt that we humans haven't a freaking clue as to utilizing
the near-blue, near-UV or even any portion of the UV-a spectrum that's
at least a million fold better off for interstellar communications, not
to mention efficient as interplanetary beacons having incorporated FM
photon packets of essentially accommodating terabytes per second worth
our best available smut, that which could have been established as the
norm as of decades ago, if not more than a century worth of such
astronomy and whatever astrophysics efforts as having instead been
flushed down the drain because we're all so pathetically snookered into
being summarily dumbfounded, just plain and simply arrogant, plus
intellectually as well as biologically bigoted to the point that we
would apparently much rather invest our best talents and limited
resources as to perpetrate a cold-war and for the likes of our going
WMD snipe hunting as another fiasco, just so that we can justify our
ongoing ethnic cleansing as a blood-sport of global energy domination
that's apparently good to the last drop, in that somehow we're hoping
that our rather nifty ulterior motives and hidden agendas of such
dastardly deeds and actions as having caused so much collateral damage
and carnage of the innocent, as per focusing our best talents and
resources upon accomplishing an early demise upon most all of the lower
99% worth of humanity goes according to plan, in that eventually the
upper most 1% gets to benefit in more ways than their fair share would
otherwise entitle such to having.

Thus ET's using their human species tunneled-spectrum worth of an
intellectual flatulence detector should have been good enough for their
getting a reasonably solid reading of CODE-RED, as to keeping
themselves clear of this Earth that's about to implode from such a
nasty ***-load of our own disinformation and the sorts of LLPOF
resident warlords having been running amuck, that clearly couldn't give
a tinkers damn about the consequences of their actions, nor as to
having a stitch worth of remorse as to the past or of whatever their
perverted future holds enstore for the rest of us minions that get the
warm and fuzzy benefit of our having to pay for everything.

If I were one of those ETs, I'd certainly sit myself way back and watch
the global melt-down of Earth from a safe distance (enjoy being
entertained by the best reality show within this galaxy), perhaps as
being easily accommodated and none the less nicely cloaked for residing
upon Venus isn't such a far stretch as long as the regular laws of
physics can be applied, taking advantage of all the vast amounts of
renewable/green energy and otherwise vast deposits of easily accessible
minerals to boot certainly beats having to reside deep into the
interior of our moon, or as having to tough it out by continually
having to reside within whatever spacecraft.

With an energy efficient Venus skyship, that of a rigid airship format
(robotic or manned) that's easily capable of cruising above them cool
nighttime clouds of Venus, if need be hauling an array of 10 meter KECK
like instruments could zoom in upon us fools with sufficient
magnification and resolution in order to see our silly dumb-ass smirks,
just like the one our resident warlord(GW bush) had before all of his
botoxin injections, which obviously went a bit too far in that a good
part of his incest mutated brain got de-smirked to boot.

Personally, I tend to think ETs have been circling our eventual demise
like a flock of vultures. At least that's exactly what I'd be doing as
an ET on the prowl for a fresh planet to occupy and exploit, whereas
I'd wait until they'd killed themselves off before moving in for
claiming my portion of their remains. Once the vast majority of humans
are extinct, as then the rehab of mother Earth might stand a chance.
