One obvious answer is: maintenance. During the lunar day, you focus on
getting stuff done; during the lunar night, you fix all the things that
got broken getting stuff done.

It's probably possible, although it would take some explicit design
attention. (The shuttle suits turned out to need some minor improvements,
like heated gloves, for station EVAs in worst-case-cold conditions.)
