As a trained geologist, would you prefer:

a: Six visits to different lunar locations, each visit lasting a week,
with a crew of 4, with some geology experiments, and returning with
100kg of rocks.

b: A permanently manned base, with a crew of 8, in a single location,
with ability to study rocks, and lunar rovers able to take you for a
radius of 100km.
