I mentioned some of the other factors elsewhere.

If we don't do something about the overvalued dollar, protectionism
and subsidies, the absence of workplace and antipollution regulations,
and, it seems, the cost of medical care, well, we'll be in the same
boat we're in with just about everything these days . . .
