SpaceX Stopped pushing back - Halloween Launch!

In the e-mail update they just sent out, SpaceX has committed to a Oct. 31
launch from their island launch complex in the Kwajalein Atoll. Elon also
talked quite a bit about development of the Falcon IX. He direct addressed
concerns people on this forum had with the nine engine setup. Their
reasoning goes that even an explosive failure of an engine won't have that
much power. The "rapid unscheduled disassembly" events that they experience
in testing never had enough force to send shrapnel through more than 2mm of
aluminum.
Good luck to SpaceX :-)
